This is certainly a favorite of mine … super shabby chic country girl cottage style
I thought it was from the 70s but a little bird told me Mary Muffet went out of business in 1953 so it would have been made by of before then Ofcourse — has the Gunne sax look but I think it’s much cuter … and the cutest the label and previous owner name tag in there … her name was Betty Cobb… Ofcourse the perfect day for the owner of this dress (I couldn’t include in these photos tho bc I’m over the photo limit)
Antique white with blue dots and blue velvet and ruffle trimming
Top has some boning in it
Skirt is very very full and has little floral details .. the flowers are in cute but not fabulous condition— they can easily be removed and or replaced if wanted.
The dress itself is in great shape … when I hand washed it I let sit a bit to long and some of the flowers faded a little blue in a couple of spots … mostly in the lining but there is a little spot on the top of the back too (anyway I think it’s cute that way and just makes it more shabby chic) also one piece of boning is poppy if out a little by the zipper (shown in last photo) all flaws show after measurements
Fits mannequin pretty perfectly so she is a S.
