rubystar007Thank you for your interest old pawn indicates there isn’t no makers mark. As items with this age were not marked. I’m not really sure what you mean by a pawn ticket? There is no proof of provenance. I have been collecting selling and buying these for years and have never had proof of provenance. All of my items have been looked at by experts and confirmed to be authentic. A lot of my items are purchased through EstateSales and no information is given.

mtidwellx4Hi. I’ve seen an old pawn pieces with the original trading post pawn tickets. Yes, very rare, but that is why it is so highly valuable. I am sorry, but you should not claim it as “Old Pawn” without that. You can 100% say it is vintage or antique but unless you can have authentication paperwork, claiming it as “”old pawn” is misleading.

rubystar007With all due respect, this item was purchased using those terms from an estate , and I will intern use those terms to sell this item. Furthermore I have had it authenticated. I have been in this business a long time and through the years I have seen hundreds of these pieces sell as old Pawn not with the original pawn reservation tickets. Nothing about my listing is misleading as I have disclosed this information in my description. I don’t do business like that.
