Y2K Jodi Michaels patchwork low-rise flare jeans in multi-wash blue denim.
These are such a good early 2000s statement denim piece, with a clear 1970s revival influence. The jeans feature a low-rise silhouette, patchwork denim construction, raw/frayed seam detailing, and a flare leg. Very boho, festival, indie sleaze, hippie denim, and vintage streetwear energy.
Patchwork denim has roots in 1960s and 1970s handmade/folk fashion, then came back heavily in the late 1990s and early 2000s as part of the boho and retro revival. These have that perfect Y2K interpretation of the look.
