What would you say is the true size of this item?

It fit me comfortably as a 2X/3X in Torrid. Because of the smocking throughout the dress, in my opinion (and without stretching the dress out), it would comfortably fit someone who wears a 3x, potentially a 4x depending on how much accommodation was needed in the chest.
