Fossiliferous Limestone/Calcite Point/Tower

Handheld polished crystal point with smooth, glossy finish. The various patterns are from the fossils whose skeletons were either originally aragonite that have, over time, become the more stable calcite, or that were calcitic to begin with. Decorative piece for display or collection. 3.5"x1" x 1" (Thanks to enough inquiries about chocolate calcite I went and double checked myself. Chocolate calcite tends to be UV reactive in some super cool colors that my fossils here just don't. Now that I've improved the images hopefully y'all can see the lovely patterns for what they are. Shells mostly, frozen in time from when they fossilized as sediments, until someone pulled them from the earth and polished them up for all to see. I hope the pictures help y'all see what I was!)
