VTG HORS D’OEUVRES OR APPETIZER TOOTHPICK HOLDER Designed in the shape of a long bodied pig Purpose: This piece was crafted specifically to serve small appetizers. It features numerous small holes along its back intended to hold skewered olives, fruit, or hors d'oeuvres. Aesthetic: The design is often associated with the Mid-Century era or Toleware style. It typically features hand-painted details, such as the colorful Celtic knot patterns seen on the side, along with a distinct pink snout and expressive eyes. Specifications: Similar vintage ceramic pig servers from this period are approximately 13.5 inches long from snout to tail and about 3.5 inches wide. In good pre owned condition no cracks or chips.
