SCAM ALERT for fellow Selkie shoppers/collectors:
Around May 6, 2026, Poshmark was flooded with dozens of brand-new accounts with zero sales listing hard-to-find or brand-new Selkie items in multiple sizes, often below retail.
Please check seller history before buying, especially if the account is new, has no sales, and is suddenly offering several rare Selkie pieces in different sizes.
Also watch for tracking scams. Some scammers may edit the PDF shipping label before shipment so tracking shows “delivered,” even though your item never arrived. Others may send a paper/note claiming your actual item will arrive in a separate shipment.
These are scams. Please protect yourself and double-check seller history before purchasing.

Ty! I noticed a few that seemed off. Only stock photos and no actual dress pics is usually my first clue. Some show a dress that could be the actual dress, but some are cropped poorly or it's only one Pic... Most people have at least a front, back and tag photo.
