Authentic Young & Quinlan department store box from the historic Minneapolis retailer. Young & Quinlan operated from 1894 to 1985 and was known as one of the city’s most elegant, fashion‑forward department stores. Their landmark 1926 building at 901 Nicollet Avenue still stands today as a preserved piece of Minneapolis architectural history.
Although the business was sold to Rothschild’s in 1949, the Young & Quinlan name and packaging continued to be used for years afterward, making these boxes wonderful examples of mid‑century department store advertising and design. This particular group was saved and carefully preserved by a former Young & Quinlan employee, which is why they remain in unusually nice condition.
This listing is for one box.
Measurements: 13" long x 6.75" wide x 4.75" tall
