Heil's Place — Scranton, PA glass beer pitcher. A piece of local history from one of Scranton's most beloved bars. Heil's Place opened August 15, 1973 at 1002 Wheeler Ave in the Hill Section of East Scranton. Owner John Heil Sr. ran the bar for 43 years before retiring at age 70. The bar closed its doors for good on January 7, 2017. Known for live music and legendary Wednesday night sets by The Village Idiots, Heil's Place was a Scranton institution. This pitcher is a genuine piece of that history. Clear glass with green printed "Heil's Place / Scranton, Pa." logo featuring a beer mug graphic. Measures approximately 8" tall, weighs about 4.3 lbs. PLEASE NOTE: There is a small chip on the spout/pour lip — see photos for details. Priced accordingly. Condition: Pre-owned with chip on spout. See photos.
