I don't think I can call these Vintage, but these are one of the early pair of A.S. 97 boots. They are in excellent condition, they saw little wear and they still look great. The leather is soft and high quality and the tops of the boots are wired for scrunching or molding. The stacked wooden heel is kind of a wedge, not like the block heels on newer designs. Heels are about 2.25 inches high. Both zippers work, the one on the inside of the calf goes all the way down, the zipper that angles around to the back unzips until it hits the the other zipper pull on the back of the heel. Because of the wired top, you can play around with them zipped and unzipped and mold the shape you want. Measurements: 2.25" heel 8" shaft height measured at the arch These boots will come with an A.S.98 boot box, and I believe it is the box they arrived in (I have a lot of A.S. 98 boxes).
