Inspired by the famous 1851 Eliza Jane Baile “Bride’s Quilt,” a Baltimore Album-style appliqué quilt known for its floral wreath blocks and vine border. This piece is a late 20th century reproduction with beautifully softened pastel tones from age and washing. Material: Cotton. Size: ~81 X 79. Bed in photo is a King Size Bed. Condition: Good. Has a few loose seams but not obvious. There is some overall fading and/or colorbreed (original colors were red and darker green - think the muted pink is very pretty).
