This Fenton handmade satin glass plate is a commemorative piece for the United States Bicentennial, issued in 1975. It features a bas-relief depiction of George Washington at Valley Forge with the inscriptions "1776-1976" and "In God we trust." This plate is number three in a series of four, produced for the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
