Vintage Miser's Purse - Beggar's ~ Antique ? ~ Victorian ? ~ Pretty! A lovely vintage, possibly antique Miser's Purse. Handcrafted black fabric (crochet?) with tarnished silver-tone accents and beads. Open slit on the back where coins and objects would have been inserted. A lovely item for the vintage purse collector. Displays nicely with other vintage items from the era (see examples). Use as base to display vintage brooches or hat pins. In nice vintage condition. Please review photos - as noted above, the beadwork shows tarnish, but appears from age, not use. Posting is for the miser's purse only. My home is smoke & pet free.
