Multiple pockets: stretch mesh in front; soft eyeglass zippered pocket; zippered compartment for small items with lots of individual pockets for organizing and a key clip; main large area for books etc; back zippered compartment for laptop or hydration sleeve to use with hole for tube at top; outside water bottle stretchy pockets. Sternum strap has built in whistle for safety. Padded adjustable straps and side compression straps. Comfortable and barely used!
