verotaylor7 @brendaaaaanaya Hello! So I’m newish to barefoot shoes (started last year), and after trial and error, I’ve discovered I’m a 42 with Be Lenka loafers, but a 40 with vivobarefoot sneakers. I thought I’d possibly be a 42 with origo huaraches, but it turns out I’m probably a 41. So, no. I’m not typically an 11, I’m really a 10 generally speaking. Really, I should have gone with my actual foot measurements with this shoe, but I was foolish. I hope this helps :/

brendaaaaanaya @verotaylor7 oh gosh. lol. I’m generally 43 womens vivo barefoot so I’m really confused with origos sizing. Are these the wide?

verotaylor7 @brendaaaaanaya Lol. I do own an older pair of vivios I got from someone online, and checking their current sizing chart, I should be wearing 41. Anya (who is in partnership with Origo) says online that the wide huaraches are: “Mostly true to size, but slightly big overall Medium to high volume The Huaraches in wide are wider in the toe box, slightly longer and higher volume compared to the regular width. This means that this version is best for thick, wide, and high volume feet.”

verotaylor7 There are no labels on the shoes or on their original box that these are wide, but upon measuring them just now, they match with the “wide” measurements at 4.1 width and not the 3.9 from the regular huaraches.

verotaylor7 @brendaaaaanaya The shoes only say 11, and dont specify if it’s W for women or M for men (those labels usually follow the number on some other Origo huaraches I’ve seen online. Unfortunately, the box doesn’t specify either). I’m putting my baby down for bedtime, but once I’m free I can measure for you to double check if it’s an 11W (42) or an 11M (43/44).

verotaylor7 @brendaaaaanaya Apologies it too me so long. The kids were a bit intense. The inside measurements match that of an 11W (42). I would have to say that this 42 is larger than what I’m used to. Your best bet is to measure your feet and give yourself the .5 or so extra for toe room.

amodestmom I have this shoe in the color toffee but size 9.5 (even though my foot is 10.5 inches) I sized down since my foot is narrow but they’re too small.. I’m a 42 in shapen poppy and 11 in xero brand. I’m not sure if I should go with an 11 outright or 10.5 though for this style

verotaylor7 @amodestmom Size 41 for me is a muuuuuuch better fit. I have a comfy thumb size width between my big toe and the top of the shoe. I feel it’s TTS.
