Vintage: Light Wool Spring Jacket

True Vintage: Fantastic condition. Uncertain of provenance. No tags whatsoever. I got this at one of my favours vintage shops. The shape and colour echoes early-mid 80s forms but without shoulder pads, and in a natural wool textile. Despite the excellent condition, due to lack of shoulder pads and great quality of tailoring and textile, I think it is likely 1950s casual wear. Lightweight wool jacket in a cute pink hue with pinstripes, fully lined. Beautifully-tailored to suit a relaxed or oversized fit, with a lapel collar, single button front, and subtle gathering along the arms and back to give form. The vertical pinstripe detail adds an unexpected and polished detail. Excellent for layering, it works equally well as outer wear or as a blazer, easily dressed up or down. I love it, but I don’t wear it, so am passing it along. I’m a petite 5’3” (size s-m) I feel it overpowers my frame somewhat, and would be better suited to someone taller, or a size m-l.
