Vintage Promo Print Poster 1937 Soviet Historical Film Peter the Great 10 X 15

Vintage Print of the Promotional Poster for the 1937 Soviet historical film "Peter the Great" (Russian: Pyotr Pervyy), directed by Vladimir Petro. It was kept in plastic, so it's in great condition. The print is approx 10 in by 15 in. The poster features a dynamic portrait of the Tsar, played by actor Nikolai Simonov. This specific artwork is a lithograph designed by Goberman and Goldstein and printed in 1937, which is the translation for the Russian words in the bottom left hand corner. Under the title it states, produced by Lenfilm (Leningrad Film Studio), one of the oldest and most prominent studios in Russia, located in Saint Petersburg (known as Leningrad from 19241991), which often used the "Order of Lenin" distinction.
