This belt is genuine leather. It is a high sheen black in color with a cross-hatch pattern throughout. The rectangle silver tone buckle sports the same leather on its edging which is a very nice touch. It has double loops to hold any excess belt. The obverse is a very nice natural sueded leather embossed with the makers emblem Remo Tulliani, Genuine Leather, and size 36. The belt has been worn a time or two prior but is nice and straight as shown in the final photo. One thing to mention: While I was polishing this belt, I accidentally got black belt polish in one of the holes, causing it to smear black between two holes on the back. ARGHHH!
