Ya that doesn't answer my question but thank you. Usually you measure the bracelet starting from the inside on one side to another.

@nevrenufsparkle The measurement you suggested is deceiving. It measures 6” end to end with a 1” gap. It has a spring hinge which adjusts to the wrist if larger than 7”. Carolyn Pollack calls it Average because 7-7.25” generally is an Average size in bracelets. I hope that answers your question.
