iconic roots leather good, in tribe leather, vintage roots still made in Canada leather embossed roots logo on one side unlined leather in main compartment, like most vintage leather bags had adjustable strap that can be removed, can be crossbody strap or shoulder strap perfect everyday carry leather bag one main zip compartment, two outside pockets, one double zip compartment and one turn lock flap all brass hardware dimensions : horizontal width - 11 inches vertical length - 9 inches depth / thickness - can be filled up to 2 inches approx. meausmerents taken when bag has been stuffed to 90% capacity condition : good used vintage condition , the main flaw in the bag are the two slits in each fabric lining pocket, not really visible when worn and doesn’t affect function much, also can be easily patched up if it bothers you, bag is in overall good condition with some patina and wear found in leather, very beautiful wear (see last 2 slides for the slits mentioned), brass needs repolishing

canadamselDo all the photos show the same purse? Some look like dark brown, and some look like they're a medium colour. It doesn't look like a lighting issue.

slowpeace@canadamsel Hi, sorry for late reply, im only selling one crossbody purse, its the vintage version of the villager tribe leather bag from roots, its medium brown color but has lighter areas from wear, its the natural patina of bag. Some photos are with a warm artificial light and others with natural sunlight from window which is why it looks different.
