Well-made wooden curio box with lid, wrapped in - I think- vinyl wallpaper-like material with photos and articles from vintage Parisian newspaper. Très Française! It’s in very good condition. The inside is lined in felt. There are a few minor nics in the felt, but no tears or lifting. Be sure to listen to the audio in the video. You’ll get a better idea of how sturdy this is. NOT cardboard. 😉 The brown trim is glued all around the top and bottom. Looks like leather, but I think it’s faux.
