Madewell Midi | Maxi Prairie Dress, 100% Cotton Navy Windowpane, Size 8-10

A beautiful dress! Worn only once for a photo shoot. It is like new. Marked as a Size 10, but IMO it fits either like a small 10 or an 8. It was described by Madewell as a Midi dress, but on me (5'4") it was more Maxi length. Dress is 100% dark navy cotton. Light and breezy. Gorgeous subtle texture to the fabric in a windowpane design. Embroidered ladder stitch details on the dress, as well. The fabric is a tad sheer, and so the dress came with a dark navy poly slip, which is included and pictured in this listing. Working buttons down the front. Pockets! It can be worn with or without the removable tie at the waist. Slight puff 3/4 sleeves that come to about the elbow with a flattering elastic cuff. Can be styled/pushed up if you prefer them to look shorter. Tiered skirt that flows and moves in a beautiful way. IMO, this dress has an easy and flattering fit. It gently tapers at the waist, ensuring that it has shape (not just a sack -like fit). Very versatile -- can be dressed up or down or for the office. Great for Spring, Summer and early Fall; fabulous on its own or layered with a blazer, sweater or jacket. Pit to pit: 20.5” Shoulder to hem: 51.5”
