Yolanda Trujillo - Acoma Pueblo, Native American
Yolanda Trujillo is known for traditional Acoma Pueblo pottery, often creating thin-walled seed pots using the ancient coil-and-scrape method, natural paints, and organic materials. Her designs frequently feature intricate, mind-bending geometric patterns that mimic the way seeds fall into a pot
Yolanda has been making pottery for about 30 years.
She began by helping her mother, Becky Pasquale, when she was 8 years old.
Like most artisians, skills and knowledge is exchanged, and Yolanda credits her grandmother and aunts with also helping her learn her art.
Non-smoking home
