meltsinyourmind When did the silk knit hat come to you? There’s a few of similar material around. I lost the one my mom made me in 2008. I visited MA, CT, VA, MD, & NV that year hat in-tow. My mom is gone now but when I stumbled across this one the stitching looks floppier just like the fit of mine. It’s eerily similar colors.. it’s wild to think this may be my hat I lost nearly a decade ago. Either way, it reminds me of home.

I know what it's like to lose sentimental childhood items. 😔 This silk knit hat was a handmade gift from a friend that I never wore. It was given to me when I lived in California in the early 2000s. I finally figured it should find a home where it will actually get some use. 💕
