Vintage Earrings by designer Eugene Schultz

Based on the name "Eugene," these are vintage clip on earrings by the designer  Eugene Schultz. His work is highly collectible and often compared to the intricate, hand- wired style of Miriam Haskell.  These earrings feature a complex combination of emerald green square-cut stones, sapphire blue faceted glass beads, and prong set yellow aurora borealis (AB) crystals on a filigree metal base. Brand History - Eugene Jewelry was in production for a limited time, specifically from 1952 to 1962 in New York City. Eugene Schultz was a Parsons School of Design graduate who previously worked as a costume designer for Broadway and a card designer for Cartier. Authentic Eugene earrings are considered rare because of the short production window.  During its peak, his jewelry was sold at high-end department stores like Henri Bendel, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
