Vintage 1940s Book, Mademoiselle Fifi by Guy De Maupassant, And Other Stories,

Hardbound 1940s vintage book, "Mademoiselle Fifi, Parisian Adventure and Other Stories" by French author Guy De Maupassant. Published by Stravon in 1949. There are incredible black and white illustrations. Measures about 8.5" x 6.75". Good vintage condition. I think this may have survived a fire actually. There is tell tale black marks on pages, but miraculously, its holding up quite well. Apart from these dark marks, the pages all seem sound and perfectly readable and the cover and spine is solid. There is some tape in the back cover and some old tape marks. Please note that many of my items are vintage and/or made using vintage materials. I do my best to list any major issues but some signs of life and love are to be expected and only add to their charm.
