You can carry it by the handles or wear it as a shoulder bag. The leather has individual “snake scales” on it. It feels smooth and in some areas, a corner of the scales are turned up a little which is just a characteristic of the leather. There is also a very slight stain on the lining near the zipper and a white mark on the edge paint. With the chain detail on the strap, it does weigh a bit more, which is to be expected. Please review the photos carefully. I did use this bag but not a lot.
