A sweet little antique star brooch dating to the late Victorian era, circa 1880–1900. Six-pointed form with ball-tipped points, raised border lines, and a finely textured surface. The center retains traces of original polychrome enamel decoration — small cross-shaped motifs in orange and teal green, now partially worn with age. Simple open C-catch pin back typical of the period. Gilt brass or gold-filled metal. Smaller than a loonie. A charming piece of wearable history; enamel wear is noted and priced accordingly.
