A true collector’s find! This 1981 first-edition Dover book is a complete, uncut reproduction of the classic turn-of-the-century "boxed toy" by the American Colortype Co. Produced in association with the Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum (The Strong National Museum of Play).
This particular volume, Cut & Assemble Paper Dollhouse Furniture, is part of a highly sought-after Dover series and features rare, Arts & Crafts/Mission Oak style furniture designs.
• Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Pages are crisp and bright. Crucially, the book is completely UNCUT. The staples are original, and no pieces have been removed or folded. (Please review photos). The cover shows some light shelf wear and minor rubbing along the edges/corners consistent with age (see photos). No tears or stains.
• Content: Contains all pieces required to build full-color paper models for four complete rooms: Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and Bedroom. Also includes small replica rugs.
• Provenance: Authentic repro. of American Colortype Co. antique designs. First edition (1981)
This is a must-have for miniaturists, junk journal artists, and collectors of Victorian/Edwardian ephemera.
