Hello! Welcome to my closet! My name is Dawn and my daughter is Hayley. Hayley is a big sister to her 1 year old little brother. Hayley is my super hero. Why, you ask? You’d never know, but she has a rare genetic disease called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. It causes tumors throughout her little body and causes some pretty complex medical conditions. Her first years of life were spent at hospitals or doctors offices and countless specialist visits. We still visit several specialist yearly and continue therapies to help her be the best she can be. Through it all, she is the happiest and most loving little girl. She was also just diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. I set up this closet to raise money for medical bills and to save money to make memorable trips with her. Every day is a blessing, but because her condition is like walking in a mine field, we never know when a bomb is going to explode. So… we live life to the quote of “Dance like no one is watching, Love as though you have never been hurt before, Sing as though no one can hear you, Live as though heaven is on earth.” Because there may be a day that our life, as we know it now, completely changes due to this disease.
