Rare Louis Vuitton Vintage (70s) Speedy Satchel By The French Company

This is a unique LV Speedy made in the USA in the 70s. Read below. It’s a collectors piece that has been extremely well preserved. THE HISTORY: This is a rare collector's item manufactured in the USA by The French Company under special license (1976-1991). During this era, LV partnered with them to meet US demand, selling exclusively at high-end stores like Saks Fifth Ave. AUTHENTICITY FEATURES: Because this is a licensed US version, it has specific details that differ from modern French-made bags. These prove it is a genuine vintage French Co. piece: Paper Tag: Original Tyvek-style tag inside confirms the US license (see photo). Talon Zipper: Features the heavy-duty metal Talon zipper/pull. Hardware: Unique gold-tone "tuck-lock" clasp on the side. Lining: Durable brown fabric (typical for this era). Monogram: Seam at the bottom means LV logos are upright on both sides. See attached certificate of authenticity completed recently for the sale. Condition: please refer to all of the photos for an accurate description of the condition. They are all of the actual bag and taken in March 2026 so they are current and accurate. Interior: ink, stains, which can be removed with water and rubbing alcohol, but I do not alter the bag. Also a few loose threads by the authenticity tag. Exterior light scratching on the brass pieces. Some wear to the handles and dark marks. Please refer to the photos.
