Upcycled Mid-Century Glass and Brass, Made in India Candle Holders, Hand Painted & Decoupaged. These little lamps just felt lack-luster and needed a new, bright look. Inspired by an old nautical book and some vintage paper, I just went with the theme! Hope you like these as much as I liked to up-cycle them! MCM Vintage Iron Candle Holders 1 Pair Made In India Brass Base With Hand Cut Glass Bottle Dome. Measurements are, 9.5" x 4.5". These are from the 1950s and are heavy iron, about 2 lbs each! They each have springs on the inside to hold the glass in place. They are fire-safe, but I recommend using the faux candles instead! I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo. Please do Inot submerge vase in water/not dishwasher safe. Gently wipe with a damp cloth for cleaning. WHAT IS DECOUPAGE? 

Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by applying paper cutouts onto it in combination, than adding a clear coat of varnish to seal the paper.

Due to the nature of each vase being handmade and decorated, absolutely no 2 pieces are ever identical and might have minor imperfections. NOTE** The surface will not be completely smooth and may have creases. This is not a defect, but due to the decoupage process it adds a rustic look and feel to each vase. You will
