What is the waist measurement? Is there any stretch to the waist?

Hello! I measured it flat and the waist of the dress is approximately 33 inches, which is bigger than a size 6 waist. Then, the attached tie is there to cinch it smaller. So, to answer your question, I would say yes, there is some wiggle room to work with and then you can tie it to adjust it. Make sense?
