I made this dress but only wore it once! It is from a japanese pattern book and has a very cute bodice and gathered skirt, with pockets!
The straps cross in the back.
It’s a size small but best for flatter chested folks as there is no give in the fabric and no darts in the bodice.
The material is 50% cotton, 50% linen (so wash cold abd hand dry!) The fabric will become soft and lovely over time!
16” Waist/chest flat across
8” tall bodice (neckline to waist)
32” skirt (waist to hem)

@jess_kerr Hello! Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of it on, but it hits me at the bottom of my ribs, so it is a little empire waisted! For reference I am 5’ 6”, so on someone taller it would definitely be empire waist!

@gemmacrazy there’s no rush, plus you’re ‘just up the road’ so it will be here in no time at all. I quit pants about a decade ago, so it will definitely be enjoyed! And I love that it’s handmade. I need to purge some sweaters but I do have my eye on that grey one…
