Marked Antique Whiting & Davis Mesh Bag Flapper Purse 1920s This Whiting & Davis silver tone metal mesh bag is a unique 100 year old piece of fashion. Details include: Art Deco inspired painted enamel diamond patterns onto mesh bag both front and back. Pattern extends to mesh pointed bottom edges. Beautiful colors of Pink, orange, blue and green. Ornate frame has scrollwork on both faces. Gold tone twisted link chain. Simple ball kiss lock closure. It has a Whiting and Davis tag on the inside frame. It is in good condition for an antique piece. There is some signs of rust on the twisted link chain. There may also be some areas with some discoloration or tarnishing. There are no holes in the mesh bag and is a wonderful vintage collectable from the 1920's. It is gorgeous when hung on a wall to add some bohemian retro flair.
