Beautiful antique 1920s Art Deco micro beaded flapper purse featuring intricate hand-sewn glass beadwork and an ornate filigree metal frame.
This vintage evening bag showcases a center floral motif design created with tiny glass seed beads in shades of blue, black, turquoise, red, and pale pink. The detailed beadwork forms a stylized floral pattern typical of Art Deco era craftsmanship.
The purse is finished with a decorative pierced filigree metal frame and chain handle, a classic style carried by women during the Roaring Twenties flapper era for evening events and formal occasions.
The fine micro-bead construction and ornate frame suggest the purse was likely produced in Czechoslovakia or France, where many luxury beaded handbags were made during the 1920s.
This is a lovely collectible antique accessory and a wonderful display piece for lovers of Art Deco fashion, vintage handbags, and historical accessories.

Hello, does the bag clasp/lock shut and stay closed?

It does not latch. one side, kind of closes under the other, so I’m not sure if there was supposed to be a latch or not, but definitely does not click.
