Vintage HERMÈS Poste Et Calvarie Silk Twill Scarf 90cm Blue/Gold/Multi

Hermès Poste et Calvarie (Post and Calvary) 90cm silk twill square scarf was designed by Joachim Metz and issued in 1986. It was inspired by the embroidery on the bags worn on the belts of French officers from the reign of Louis IX to the 1800s. The colours are navy blue, royal blue & gold with a few accents of pink and red in the design. Used vintage, in good condition. *Care label removed. *This is a first print, contrary to popular lore among collectors, they didn't forget the accent on the E in Hermès, it is there, but is faint on the right side, but very visible on the wrong side of the fabric.
