The Shimano reel is FOR PARTS OR REPAIR - it is very hard to reel - appears that it may have fishing line stuck in the handle (not sure if that's the only issue or not).
The Abu Garcia reel seems to work just fine.
Both reels are a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning.
