Vintage Micosukee Seminole Maxi Dress

For sale is this rare, handmade Seminole pull on full length dress. Developed by Seminole women before 1920, early designs were bars or blocks of alternating colors or a sawtooth design that were sewn directly into the body of the garment creating a patchwork design. Short flared sleeves, Green and orange background with brilliant ric-rac colors of yellow, red, green and white creating a beautiful design. Since this item is homemade, there is no size tag. Please check the measurements before bidding. Seams under arm and on sleeve need to be resewn. No returns on this item. Approximate measurements: Length 52" Armpit to armpit 21" Sleeves 11"
