🌺 Antique Persian Hand-Painted Mother of Pearl Necklace & Earrings

Beautiful vintage Persian necklace and matching earrings with hand-painted miniature scenes on genuine mother of pearl panels. The panels are oval and marquise shaped and painted with either colorful birds or traditional riders on horseback. They are all set and framed in silver filigree. The metal is not plated, but silver through. So there is a high likelihood that it is 800 silver. This appears to be made between the 1920’s-50’s. The clasp on the double chain looks like it’s been replaced. The matching earrings have a bit more of a yellow glow with hand painted birds. Thei is just a remarkable set. It is in remarkable condition, no and the natural iridescence and shades of the mother of pearl really brings it alive.
