This is a lovely dress with a retro feel to it. I wore it once. It has a brown and black gingham pattern throughout and it has buttons going down the front that are just decorative. It has an elasticized waistband and is made of a double layer gauxe-type cotton. It has hidden side pockets. It's ideal for spring and fall and can be worn by itself with sandals or with tights and boots. You could layer with a long sleeve shirt to wear in colder weather if desired.
