Vintage 1963 Ideal Klunks Wild Bill Cowboy Rag Doll with Boots Belt Bullets Hat

Vintage 1963 Klunks “Wild Bill” cowboy doll by Ideal Toy Corporation. This humorous Western character doll stands approximately 16 inches tall and features the distinctive Klunks design with exaggerated facial features, yarn beard, cloth body, oversized cowboy boots with spurs, and classic Western outfit. Wild Bill was part of Ideal’s early 1960s Klunks line, a series of whimsical cowboy character dolls inspired by the popularity of TV Westerns during the era. These dolls were designed with soft cloth bodies, felt hats, and accessory belts. This example retains many of its original accessories including the cowboy hat, gun belt with bullet loops and bullets, boots with spurs, and original Ideal Toy Corp tag. A vintage Kilgore PAL cap gun is included as a period accessory, though it may not be the original gun issued with the doll. A fun and collectible piece of vintage Western toy history. The cloth body and clothing show light wear and minor discoloration consistent with age. The yarn beard and hair remain intact and the felt cowboy hat is present with some light edge wear. The gun belt retains the bullet loops and bullets. The included metal cap gun is a Kilgore PAL toy revolver from the same era but may not be the original accessory issued with the doll.
