Tried on indoors only — no trail miles. Still in the original box. These are a lightweight mid-height hiking boot that feels more like a trail runner than a traditional stiff backpacking boot. Flexible and comfortable for long days, with enough structure for hiking with a pack. Features: • Gore-Tex waterproof liner • Cushioned but responsive feel underfoot • Aggressive lugged outsole for grip on dirt, rock, and wet terrain • Lightweight, flexible design ideal for hiking or backpacking I bought two sizes for a backpacking trip last fall and ended up using the other pair but missed the return window. These have been sitting in the box since and deserve to get out on the trail. Just hoping they find a good home with someone who’ll take them out into the mountains! Inov-8 is a British brand and tends to run a bit small (similar to La Sportiva). For reference, I wear 8.5 in Salomon, 9.5 in La Sportiva, and 9.5 in Inov-8s fit me perfectly but these 9s are just a hair too small.
