Vintage Avon Lapel Pin, Angel Holding Dangling Purple Heart Silver Tone W/Enamel

This sweet little vintage lapel pin from Avon features an angel made of silver tone metal, holding a dangling purple heart. The angel's dress is enameled in a cream color and embellished with shiny silver tone metal scrolling. The angel's wings are shiny silver tone metal. The purple heart charm is a little over 1/4 of an inch tall, and the angel itself is almost an inch tall. This piece would make an excellent stocking stuffer, birthday gift for someone born in February (amethyst is the Feb. birthstone). The bottom of the pin is marked "Avon" and is in good condition; please view all photos to see that there is some oxidation beginning to show on the wings, and also a bit of discoloration on the bottom. 1980s-early 2000.
