Black Jack Turquoise is a distinctive and rare variety of turquoise known for its striking appearance, characterized by vibrant blue, green, and sometimes orange hues set against a prominent black chert matrix. This unique turquoise is primarily mined in the Tonopah and Pioche districts of Nevada, notably by the Otteson family, who also own other famous turquoise mines like Royston.
