This vintage mid-century modern brooch is characterized by its long, tapered teardrop shape with a textured, ribbed, or "fluted" gold-tone finish on the metal. The centerpiece is a “flawed" emerald-colored stone, a specialty glass cabochon characterized by intentional white swirls added during manufacturing to mimic natural inclusions.
