Fredelle for Jean's Sandal Bar Vintage Raffia Slide Sandals Size 8N

These vintage sandals were made by Fredelle, a shoe company making high quality shoes primarily in Italy and Spain, and were privately labeled for Jean's Sandal Bar in Hermosa Beach, California. Fredelle is no longer in business and I was unable to find a history of the company, but did find vintage shoes by Fredelle from about the 1940s-1970s. These sandals have all of the components of a higher end shoe. These sandals feature a 2.75" cork wedge heel, leather insoles, and leather soles. The slide strap is a woven raffia with a ceramic embellishment. These vintage slides are in lovely condition. The soles show minor wear and have been treated with Saphir (I treat all leather soles with Saphir Sole Guard). The raffia strap and fringe are clean and in stellar condition. Smoke-free, dog-friendly home.
