1903 Triangles Speculator Quilt

Soft handmade patchwork quilt in blue and pink tones. Lightweight, cozy layer perfect for beds or sofas. Classic geometric design adds a timeless touch to your decor. Easy to pair with neutral or pastel bedding. This one is just unbelievable and truly hard to part with. This is out of my personal collection. This was started in 1902 and completed in 1903 from what we can find. It has both hand stitching and machine stitching. This is quite a large quilt for being this old. It’s fragile in some parts but overall is pretty sturdy and will hold up to use. There is railway cottons on here and many old hand stamped, hand dyed indigo cottons. The white and black stripes are the most fascinating in my opinion. Measurements to follow:
