Gorgeous statement ring from my family collection. Setting stands 11mm tall from band. Shows some wear consistent with age but stone is set sturdy. JR Mexico 925 markings are indicative of Taxco Mexico makers. Weight 5.6 grams Beautiful purple stone. Has not been verified, but my relative said it is an alexandrite. I believe it’s amethyst or purple sapphire. It’s gorgeous and a bit color changing with some blue hues. Offers welcome!
