andreakorin@christamh1 Hello, the hardware with the plastic covering is part of the clasp that is affixed to the inside of the bag. When I get home I’ll take another photo and also check to confirm that the gold is not discolored.

andreakorin@christamh1 I added an additional photo that should more clearly show the location of the hardware with the plastic. There is no discoloration of the gold hardware.
